Why we built this
Every party game night ends the same way for a lot of us — the references don't land, the jokes don't translate, and you spend half the game explaining why something is funny instead of just laughing.
Culture Cards is built from the inside. By people who grew up with two languages, two sets of cultural references, and the experience of existing between worlds. The cards are written to hit for people who get it — and to be genuinely educational (and hilarious) for those who don't.
Two editions, one mission
We're starting with two editions — Desi (South Asian) and Persian (Iranian) — because those are the communities we know best. More editions are in the works. If you want your culture represented, reach out.
Free digital game
The digital game at culturecards.store/play is and always will be free. We cap the online game at 50 cards per edition — the full 250-card physical deck is for people who want the real experience.
