How to Play Culture Cards

The basics

Every card belongs to one of four modes, and bilingual rules cards (English + తెలుగు) come in the box — zero rulebook reading, every generation can deal themselves in. Each card you win is a point. Most points when you decide to stop wins the night.

One deck, four modes

Shuffle the deck and deal or draw freely. Each card's back shows a color-coded mode icon — that icon is the rule for that card. No choosing modes in advance. The card you draw decides how you play it.

Best for any group size. The whole table plays at once.

   Draw a Most Likely To card (red back) and read the prompt aloud to the table.

2. 2

   Everyone points at once — no deliberating. Most votes takes the card.

3. 3

   Tied? Both players take the card and split a point. Keep it moving.

4. 4

   Rotate the reader clockwise. Most cards at the end of the game wins.

Hold it to your forehead — you can't see it, but everyone else can.

   Draw a Forehead card (amber back) and hold it face-out on your forehead — you cannot see it, but the group can.

2. 2

   The group shouts clues. No saying the word on the card (or any part of it).

3. 3

   Got it? Keep the card in your score pile. Skipping? Pass it to the bottom of the deck.

4. 4

   Use a phone timer for 60 seconds per turn. Most correct answers wins!

Use any words to describe — just not the card text itself.

1. 1

   Draw a Describe It card (indigo back). The active player reads it silently.

2. 2

   Describe the card using any words, sentences, or sounds — but never the word or phrase on the card.

3. 3

   First person to shout the correct answer wins the card.

4. 4

   60 seconds per turn. Most cards wins the round.

Read the first half — first to shout the right ending takes the card.

1. 1

   Draw a Finish the Phrase card (green back) and read the first half of the prompt aloud.

2. 2

   The rest of the table races to shout the correct ending — a well-known Telugu phrase, saying, or cultural reference.

3. 3

   First correct answer wins the card. No partial credit.

4. 4

   Rotate the reader each turn. Most cards wins.
