A Bengali Edition of Culture Cards would be for the family that names their cats after Tagore characters, argues passionately about whether hilsa from Padma is categorically different from hilsa from anywhere else, dresses up for Durga Puja with the energy most cultures reserve for a royal wedding, and has at least one elder who can turn any topic — cricket, weather, a Netflix recommendation — into a meditation on the partition. We want to build that game.

The Bengali diaspora spans Kolkata, Dhaka, London, and the entire eastern seaboard of the United States, and it carries a shared cultural weight: the reverence for adda, the love of mishti, the deep investment in the arts alongside an equally deep investment in engineering and medicine.
